Golden Acrylics Lecture Demo at MAG March Meeting

Come to our March Meeting, Tuesday, 3/8 at 6:30 PM (social time) or promptly at 7 PM for a demo by Golden Acrylics representative, Patti Brady.

She will present the latest advances in acrylics paints along with mediums, gels, techniques, etc... for painters, printers, draftsmen, photographers, mixed media, collages and DIGITAL works!

Always thought acrylics dry too fast... well, Patti will tell us about acrylics that dry so slow it thinks it's oil!

For multi-media-techie artists, how about how to print on acrylic paint surfaces without the paper? Did I read that right... curious.

She will also demonstrate how acrylic paint can be the grounds for other media, such as watercolor and colored pencils.

Artists of all levels can benefit from this creativity booster shot. Email Debbie at dyacenda@aol.com for your complementary Golden samples and literature packet. This meeting is free is open to the public.

Great Time at Image Arts Etc

MAG did the unusual and had our first field trip meeting at Image Arts Etc at the Promenade on Providence Road. Owner, Dave D'Elia, and his assistant, Jennifer, gave valuable information about printing, giclees and different types of framing techniques. They even fed us! What a wonderful time! If you couldn't make it, extra brochures were picked up by Debbie Yacenda. Just ask, and she'll give you one. Or better yet, stop by and see Dave yourself. Tell him you heard great things about MAG's visit and would like to see the place for yourself.
