En Plein Air at the President James K Polk Historic Homesite
James K Polk Birthplace
Belinda, Pat and Debbie showed up for en plein air this morning with beautiful weather. We sat at the shady picnic tables and sketched and painted the birthplace of James K. Polk. Yeah, we did a lot of talking too... and shared some Jelly Bellies! Join us next time at a private garden near the Mint Museum on Randolph Road, Tuesday, 4/26. Email Nancy (enpleinair@nc-kennedy.com) or Debbie (dyacenda@aol.com) to get in the loop. You'll find out why we call ourselves "the plein air buds".

Great Presentation by Roy Tidwell
Not only is Roy a wonderful sculptor but also a fantastic writer. His works are not mere representations of ideas but there's a story behind each of his works. You need to read his Limbo Mythology! Contact Debbie, who will share her copy... but wants it returned. Her favorite is the Othello Limbo. Thank you, Roy Tidwell, for showing us art's third dimension!
