Lee McLaren Wins Best of the Best in Annual Drawing Contest

Lee McLaren with his winning drawing.

Lee McLaren drew it from a photo at the En Plein Air station which featured photos from the locations the Plein Air Buds have visited. The photo he chose came from Cooper's Garden near the Mint Museum on Randolph. Dell Shepard, Diane Caudle, and Alan Wells also won awards. 15 small prizes were given out so that hopefully most left with something. There were 5 drawing stations: portrait, glassware, floral, still life and en plein air photos.Nancy Kennedy, the incoming program chair, plans on contining the drawing contest next year.

Thanks to Nancy Kennedy for setting up the floral and still life tables. Thanks to Cynthia Powers who doubled as photographer and model for the portrait station. Thanks to Kevin Brown for assisting with prize presentation and holding up drawings. But most of all... Thanks to all who came! Fun Time!
