Join MAG's Plein Air Buds at the McGill Rose Garden, 940 N. Davidson in Charlotte, on Tuesday, 5/24/11 at 10 AM. Besides roses, there are statues, a train car, and a vegetable/herb garden, to inspire a drawing, photograph or painting. Later join Nancy for a tour of the art galleries at NoDa! Stallings Arts & Music Festival Canceled

Due to ominous weather conditions predicted for this weekend, the Stallings Arts & Music Festival is canceled. Therefore, MAG will not be having its art sale. Stay home and paint the stormy skies!

Congratulations to Elizabeth Martineau

Elizabeth won a total of three medals: First Place in Oils and Third Place in Watercolor and also in Acrylics with the Mecklenburg Senior Games, Silver Arts Division. We're all very proud of you, Elizabeth!

Life Drawing Every Wednesday Night

Come to the Matthews Community Center, tomorrow night, Wednesday at 7 PM for another weekly life drawing session. David is the model. The charge is $5-7 depending on how many attend. All artists over the age of 18 welcome. Come early so you're ready to start at 7 sharp!
