Scott Boyles Monthly Paint-Out (September 2009)
The following MAG members Kathering Maske, Catherine Clements, Alan Wells, Carole Connaughton, Yevette Brandell, and Virginia Dauth had a great time painting at Scott Boyles monthly Paint-Out that he holds for free each month at various locations. Even though the weather forecasters were calling for 60% chance of rain... It turned out to be a splendid day! As they say, it never rains at a Plein Air Paint-Out! In the bottom photo it looks like Scott painted a nice little gem...
Another Event to take notice is Carolina's Got Art & The Piedmont Pastel Society is presenting live pastel demonstrations and classes October 5 - 10, 2009 at The Atherton Mill 2000 South Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28203 - For more information go to their web site which can be found by clicking on the link on the left Events/Classes section.
We are still working out some bugs in this blog such as we still need to make changes to the Art Wall photo gallery section for better display and a few other techno stuff... Just like art a continuous work in progress!
